Cybersecurity refers to the strategies, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices, and measures that are designed to identify threats and vulnerabilities, prevent threats from exploiting vulnerabilities, mitigate the harm caused by materialized threats, and safeguard people, property, and information. Building on Module 8 on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Prevention: Strategies, Policies, and Programmes, this Module covers the practical aspects of cybersecurity and cybercrime prevention, including risk assessments and the measures used to prevent, detect, respond to and recover from cybersecurity incidents.
