This section provides suggestions for post-class assignments for the purpose of assessing student understanding of the Module. Suggestions for pre-class or in-class assignments are provided in the Exercises section.
It is proposed that students undertake a research-based assignment, identifying and analysing legal frameworks in their country relevant to the protection of smuggled and trafficked children. The degree to which these frameworks reflect and are consistent with international standards should be analysed. Deficits, where apparent, should be highlighted. The essay should not be longer than 2,500 words.
