Illegal interception of data etc.
7. A person who knowingly and without lawful excuse or justification
intercepts by technical means
(a) any transmission to, from or within a computer system that is not
available to the public; or
(b) electromagnetic emissions that are carrying computer data from a
computer system
is guilty of an offence and is liable on conviction on indictment to a fine of $50 000
or to imprisonment for a term of 5 years or to both.
