368. DISTURBING MARKET OR EXCHANGE BY PUBLICATION OF
FALSE NEWS OR TELEGRAMS

A person who with intent to cause any public alarm or disturbance, or
with intent to disturb or maintain the price of any goods, stocks, or
other things in any public market or exchange, publishes, or attempts
to cause the publication by print or electronic or telegraphic or any
other means any information, data, statement or report or any other
matter which he or she knows or believes to be false is liable on
conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 2 years.
