Inspired by the Fiches Belges of the European Judicial Network, the UNODC Electronic Evidence Fiches summarize national procedures and requirements to preserve and obtain electronic evidence held by foreign service providers quickly, legally and in an admissible format for trial, including through mutual legal assistance (MLA) and informal international cooperation in criminal matters. The aim of the UNODC Electronic Evidence Fiches is to provide practical information to support criminal justice practitioners in engaging in cross-border cooperation on electronic evidence.
