This exercise serves to familiarize students with the prosecution and judicial process for wildlife and forest offences and the evidence and procedural rules applicable to such proceedings. Further, the exercise is designed to promote UNODC's SHERLOC case database and encourage greater use of the resources made available through this portal. It also encourages students to research cases beyond the SHERLOC material.
